Bmw xdrive différence tolerance

Hello, I really didn't like the Bridgestone since they only lasted me 16000 km. I want to go with the Michelin 4s but they do not have all 4 sizes that will fit. I'm planning to go with 245/35/21 and 265/35/21 that is 1.1% of difference. Will it mess up my launch control, 0-60 feet and xdrive system? Where can I find more accurate documentation regarding this?

BMW recommends maximum of 1%, but that is also to account for differences in tread depth. If you do that setup, and when your rear tyres wear out and replace them but you still have half the tread on the fronts then it will be more like 2% difference.

Why not go with 255 front and 265 rear, as per the new X3M Competition sizes?

What are the brand that will come on the x3m competition? Is it 255/40/21 and 265/40/21 Michelin 4s?

Standard specification for the BMW X3 M Competition and BMW X4 M Competition includes 21-inch wheels finished in Bicolour black with 255/40 ZR21 tyres at the front and 265/40 ZR21 tyres at the rear.

And yes, they're Pilot Sport 4S judging by the press release photos.

It's 4s tires but when I contacted Michelin NA they said they did not make 245/40/21. Maybe it's Uber preproduction.

They do make 265 but not the 255 40 that I see. But you can get a 255 35 which should keep the dimensions the same as oem
