X3 F25 LCI /X4 F26 Rear View Camera Retrofit.

Has anyone done an original BMW Rear View Camera retrofit to X3 F25 LCI or X4 (F26)? I have the kit 66 21 2 358 777 and the original BMW instructions. It is fitted to the instructions and has power etc. The problem is ICAM doesn't show up using E-SYS and there is no obvious reason why not. There are no error messages as it it isn't there.... The connections have all been checked and rechecked including the can bus connections. It is the NBT HU. 3AG has been coded in. The kit is only for F25 LCI or X4 (F26) and is different from all the others. People have commented about BMW instructions being incorrect regarding pins and can bus but this does seem to be correct. But we must have something wrong for it not to at least be visible in E-SYS.

Thanks to some amazing help from Stefan we persevered and now the camera is working perfectly. It took many false starts mainly due to it being an F25 LCI not F25 or F30 but it was well worth the effort of fitting an OEM. With hindsight and what we know now it isn't difficult to fit.

Since gallway1 hasn't logged on in over 3 years, not sure if they'll be answering your question

I searched several times for the codings and procedures for the retrofit reverse cam but could not find information on how to do it on a f25 LCI, do you think you could help me?

You'd add the option to the FA then code the appropriate module(s).
