Looks good.
I'll take a picture on the stock front bump stop and measure the length.

My X3M has been crashy, banging on each bump on the stock suspension straight from delivery 2 weeks ago. I checked my delivery tyre pressure and it was 44/47 F/R!

I finally had some time this morning and I dropped to 35/35 (which came up as 38/38 as they weren't quite cold). The difference is night and day. It's like a new car!

Still, going with MSS next week to drop a little and improve the ride further but I am just blown away by just how much better it is already dropping the tyre pressure.

What tyre pressure is everyone running on their 21" wheels?
32 psi front, 35 psi rear

Yea, but it will still give you a bad ride if you are riding on the bump stop.

Question for all whom these fitted (correctly) - is there any creaking coming from your rear springs? I've just had mine adjusted (raised) at the rear and am now hearing a bit of creaking from the rear while driving.

Thanks for the reply - the Installer notes state that it may happen for a couple of days after adjustment, so here's hoping it goes away...

I went the "cheap" route (H&R, not MSS. H&R height is not adjustable). No regrets (or at least not in the past 12 hours since installation ) If you found that the stock ride is unbearable and you cannot live with it, go MSS. If you had no issues with the firmness of the stock ride, then H&R seems to be very much like stock.

BMS spacers + Sterckenn CF lip. Except for the 1st & last one, these are all before and after pics mainly (before on the left).

No creaking here. I've gone over some crazy bad roads and such and the only noise I ever hear is from the front suspension bump stops occasionally if I take a bump too fast.

I have thought about maybe raising the MSS adjuster up a bit more in front, but, I am at a 6mm rake now so if I raised it I would eliminate the rake altogether. Not sure what effect that would have as most cars I have had in the past didn't have an uneven rake front/back.

If you have heavy foot, you'll feel that the rake is important.
Even at 6mm rake, under WOT, I can feel the rear suspension is absorbing a lot of its weight.
For daily drive, I don't mind. But when the track opening up, I will raise the rear to 15mm rake before I go.

Try -15mm rake. It works well for airplanes.

Install occurring as I type

Printed instructions, asked for no more than 1" drop and 6mm rake.

Fingers crossed.

Install completed!

I asked for a 1" drop and I am not sure if this is bang on or lower, but I am happy to report that I'm having zero noise, bump stop, or clapping spring issues so far. I made sure the installers had all of the instructions and I advised them multiple times what I was after.

I'm running 15mm future classic spacers front and rear which looks aggressive in the first photo they sent me, but as you can see in the following photos which I took, the tyres sit within the guards. I'm glad I went this route over the 12mm as it makes the whole stance more aggressive.

I'd describe the ride in comfort now post install as in line with stock springs in comfort before the drop, which I am really happy about. If I'd maintained stock height with these new springs, I think it might even be more comfortable than with the stock springs beforehand.

I have a feeling they focused on the 1" drop instruction over the 6mm rake instruction.

So I am assuming this is the stock 15mm.

Front looks good but I feel like the rear got dropped a tad too much.

I'll have another look tomorrow on a proper flat surface.

I'm not sure how easy it is to raise the back, but if it's got a smaller gap at the rear vs. the front, i'll have it raised slightly.
