New question for the group.

Has anyone put the MSS spring kit onto a non-Competition X3M/X4M? I don't think I've seen anyone on this board who has. Just trying to decide if the MSS are any softer feeling than the base X3M setup. i don't really want to go much softer than the base spring setup, but wouldn't mind if I could take some of the initial "bounciness" out of the ride, particularly on rough pavement

First time i've been able to drive around some twisty roads, this car doesn't disappoint very impressive at speed around turns and twists. It just grips!

SAV or Wagon? Sitting on MSS.

So it seems pretty clear that the ride is more comfortable with the MSS springs, but what about handling? Is it about the same? More body roll? Or better since it sits a little lower?

I took mine out to Angeles Crest Highway yesterday, lots of twists, turns, and straightaways. I didn't have any issues I was driving with everything in sports plus. Feels crisp and direct going through turns additionally the lower center of gravity reduces body roll.

The only Non-Comp that I've worked on, the owner opted for H&R.

But, IMO, MSS is not softer. Just more controllable since it uses linear spring rate, instead of progressive.

I would say it will get rid the stock bounciness when on rough pavement.

Got the car back. Definitely removes the harsh ride on rough pavement. I hit the bump stops on hard bumps though. Overall very happy with the install. Next is 265/40/21 all around to soften it up even more.
