No luck in Ohio. They don't want to deal. I believe I've tried every dealer in Ohio. Look like going out of state will be the only option.

Not sure if silver and cognac fit? Could do without heads up and gesture but seems easier and not much different to get entire exec package. |

Advice
About to start negotiating and appreciate some input?
Does any of the incentive rebate apply if I am not leasing and not taking a loan? If I am paying cash do I just negotiate a percentage off of msrp? Does that include Destination? Do I separately negotiate extended warranty? Has anyone picked their car up from the Spartenberg center and did the test driving experience! |

After you settle on a price talk extended warranty. Giving dealers a list of things to package together is a great way to get f-ed. Can't speak to Spartanburg. Good luck! Last edited by DonkSlimhammer; 01-04-2020 at 01:22 AM.. |

Thank you
Wondering if the higher discounts went away December 31 and prices up in January.. Since January incentives not known yet, what’s a reasonable msrp percentage discount? 10% or more? Would you do any of this at dealer or all by email? |

Incentives should run through tomorrow for december. I would do most through email and not go into the dealership. But if you do go into a dealership always walk out with a written offer if you like it, go over it carefully, and post any questions you might have. Walking out will certainly get you a better deal a few moments later as well

New to the BMW world with a 2019 330i XDrive in May of '19.
First post on the forum and in the market again to lease a 2020 X3 XDrive. Curious what kind of deals (lease) anyone has found preferably in SE Michigan. Initial offer I received is 5% off a special order (assuming before incentives but waiting for a confirmation and no I'm not accepting that offer whatsoever) and working with a few dealers to beat it. Thanks in advance. |

Quick welcome and congrats on your Bimmer!
And a quick historical nickname origin: Why is a BMW called a "bimmer"? The nickname "bimmer" for BMW cars originated in the US. It was derived from "beemer" or "beamer," names for BMW motorcycles that were first coined in the UK in the 1960s and later spread across the globe. A magazine for BMW fans and the newsletter of a BMW club from Boston, both bearing the title "Bimmer," then appeared in the US in the 1970s. The origin of the nickname "beamer" The nickname "Beamer" comes from Great Britain – and originally served to distinguish it from a British manufacturer* whose motorcycles bore the nickname "Beezer". Over the years, riders and motorsports fans coined the nickname "beemer" for BMW motorbikes, by analogy to "beezer." "Beemer" is a lot snappier and generally easier to say than BMW, especially as it cuts out the difficult long W sound at the end. The name "beemer" quickly gained popularity in English-speaking countries as a nickname for BMW motorbikes. Over time, the alternative spelling "beamer" emerged – its resemblance to the word "beam" is believed to be coincidental. Incidentally, no separate nickname has ever been spawned in BMW's German homeland, perhaps because the name BMW trips off the tongue much more easily in German. https://www.bmw.com/en/automotive-li...me-origin.html
