Son, there are at least 5 of us here with bolt ons and a tune faster than your rice cooker.

You've been comparing apples and oranges and it's hilarious to see your compensation fall flat. Give it up

The only thing I could say is that my X3 is faster than your over-boosted N20 lol

Here is a video of a Stock 35i vs 28i race-chip ultimate (supposedly adds 55 hp and 58 lb-ft)

N54/55 in the E series has a smaller turbo, and more narrow powerband (less power) and if they don't know how to drive, the 6 Speed is substantially slower.

But why are we talking about dragracing in an SUV? If you want to be sporty, have a car and not a minivan.

Hey I was playing with a m235i on the highway yesterday (Not sure if he was 6mt or 8at) and I was keepin up with him and put some gaps on him in my x3. We pulled off and did a launch from a dig at a light, and that is really where I dusted him. I am sure If he had the same mods as me he'd blow my doors off but, just goes to show you can make an x3 sporty.

Unless you personally ran your X3 at the 1/4mi and have a time slip to prove you're faster, you're not.

Actually I recall that Riick did post his 14.6 slip a while back in a different thread.

The main reason that I posted mine was to prove that a stock 35i is still faster than a modded 28i despite Riick posting numerous times that his 28i was faster.
Also any mod done to the 28i can also be done to the 35i and yield more benefit, eg. 3 psi of added boost will yield 30 hp on a 2.0l and 45 hp on a 3.0l.

At the end of the day, they are both still tall slow boats. My 328i wagon was a superior car, but I traded it to keep my wife happy. The X3 35i at least has more power.

Butt dynos and bench racing don't get you anywhere. Someone with a 35i near Riick line up against him. Make a pass, swap lanes and make another pass.

Just a FWIW story. I ordered an E92 (N54) when they first came out. Before I put a tune in it I was out driving around (it was dark) and decided to do a flip flop. A car was coming and I floored it, assuming I would pull away from whatever it was. Surprisingly there was no pulling away. He wasn't gaining on me, but he was right there with me. Came to a stop light. It was an M3 (naturally aspirated of course). We briefly chatted and decided to see what would happen from a dig. He didn't stand a chance from a dig.

His naturally aspirated M3 breathed as well as my car at higher RPMs . Designed more for the Autobahn? Don't know, but that M3 from a roll didn't run out of breath and I could not lose him.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I suspect the 4 cylinder 28i does not breathe as deeply at higher RPMs as the 6 cylinder 35i.

There's no mechanical difference between an N55 on a 135i or 335i E8x 9x or F3x

Will the N20 F25 with a $200 boost controller beat a stock N55 F25 doing a 75mph roll race? Nah.

Will it be a good race from stop light to stop light? Yep.

OP's 35i ran the 330' @ 5.9637 and my 28i ran that @ 6.014

We're talking about 50 milliseconds between a 28i and 35i at 330ft. 50 milliseconds that's insane! At least til the 330ft mark, where all the stop light grudge racing happens, the 28i with a 30 second $200 mod is exactly the same speed as a stock 35i. The determining factor of who wins is 100% driver.

So if you think you're going to roll up to a 28i at a stop light and smoke his ass, you might just lose.

That's absolutely false. The F series N55 (starting in MY 2014) uses an electronic wastegate and a bigger turbine. It's why the M235i can make 370whp tune only, while the E series can make what...like 320whp?

Are you kidding?

Your own post corroborates the fact they share the turbo... not sure what you're on about...

Your image says "E series" (whatever that means), and has E8-9 chassis and F3x chassis...

Early F series cars came with the PWG turbos. I told you, MY 2015 cars came with EWG turbos. I provided dynographs - at this point, you're being purposely obtuse.
