For those of you who have remote start from the factory or after the fact via connected drive. What are your thoughts? Does it work well? I have a 22 and can add it for $330 from the connected drive store. I am in So Cal and yes it's hot so I know it's worth it, just curious.

I did not have it in my 2020 or 2021 X3M and always wish I had it. Thx!

It was awesome all winter to get into a warm car, or if I had dog with me to prep it faster after a walk. Also nice to just spook people with a decatted straight pipe cold start.

I got it on my 22. I love it. I use it all of the time. Well worth it IMO

Mine has it but it’s garaged mostly so I don’t find I use it very often

On my 22, it works great. Well integrated with the BMW app to start from a distance. Also cool party trick + convenient to triple click the key fob to start as you approach the vehicle and hear the cold start from the exterior. MBB is the darkest color I've owned, so it's nice to get into a cool car in the FL heat.

Note, it took about a day for my purchase to flow through the system and work. You will need to update a few settings inside iDrive.

Parked at work for the first time today and accidentally hit the lock button three times as I was walking into the building. Needless to say, Car started right up. Had no idea you could start from the fob before that!
