2017 BMW X3 SDrive28i - BMW maps update & Car Play
1. Can anyone suggest options to update BMW maps or Install Apple Carplay?
2. Recommended Engine Oil? Is it good to go with Valvoline 0W-20 |

Map updates are available via BMW for $$ or you can find a link to download, you would want NBT EVO maps, you would also need an FSC code, you can generate them yourself if you google around but I recommend people to just buy a code from eBay.
For oil you can run anything w/ recommended spec that is BMW LL-01 certified. I prefer Liquimoly 5W-40 Leichtlauf for summer/ hotter months. I switch to BMW brand 0w-30 for a freezing winter. |

I would never run a 0w20 oil in my BMW, and definitely not in Arizona.
Stick to 5w30, 5w40 or 0w40 full synth oils that are clearly labeled as approved under LL-01 spec.
