OFFICIAL RELEASE!!! RG Sport Mid-pipe by Evolution Racewerks for X3M | X4M

Guys,

I finally got a chance to put this together and make an official release page.
I've been busy with the demands even before it is officially released.

As some of you guys know, the midpipe consists of secondary cat and resonator delete with H-Pipe design.
This product doesn't produce drone and gives you 8whp and 20lb-ft tq gain stock and 10whp and 19lb-ft tq gain with RaceChip GTS Black.

It is mandrel bent T304 stainless steel and TIG welded.
Utilizes factory cutting / service point with high quality connection clamp.
Easy to revert back to stock, no welding required.

Product is not live on our website. Click Here for the link.

Here are some pictures of the product and links to some of the videos.

What an amazing exhaust modification. I've had mine on the car for I believe a month now and I am so happy I decided to do it early on. I couldn't imagine not having this on the car now. Thank you so much for your business!

This is certainly a high quality unit and a pretty unique offering that's made here in the US. I will eventually get one of these for my X3 M too!

One of the first mods I'm planning for my just-ordered X3MC. Can't wait!

I noticed the dyno dates for both plots without the midpipe were on a different day. Anything else that might have changed since then? Different fuel, ecu learning, etc? I'm most impressed by the gains at low rpm...the midpipe is making power quite a bit sooner. It seems to make a bigger difference than the racechip down low.

Baseline done way before the midpipe was developed.
Since I have to bring the car to another shop (SP-engineering) for dyno, I can do another baseline and swap the midpipe at their place then do dyno again.

Nothing changed.
I used Costco gas, California 91 Octane.
Just different temp maybe.

Even if it is off, it shouldn't be 10whp difference.

Yes, low gas light. Since you'll be enjoying how your car sounds and driving it hard all the time.

So it will increase more gas consumption? Also how long is the average installation, I’m having auto shop install for me don’t wanna get rip off in the hourly labor fee.

You don't get my sarcastic joke, lol.
No, it won't increase gas consumption if you drive normally.
It will increase gas consumption because you will want to step on it even more than normal so you can hear the exhaust sound.

2 hours max for labor.

Will this work on LCI, what is needed? Will it void the warranty? Will it need a tuneE?

Will work.
Just need the midpipe, no tune needed.

Warranty wise, any aftermarket mods will void the warranty.
It is down to your dealership to say whether they want to void it or not.

Basically anything you replace on the exhaust, besides downpipes, will require cutting.

So to those of you who are leasing your rig, did you do this midpipe? What do you plan on doing at lease end; go back to stock?

BMW exhaust system is one whole piece from downpipe all the way to the tip.

You don't need to cut if you are going to combine my midpipe with some axle back exhaust.
Or, if you are going to run just the midpipe, with no muffler.

99% of my customers who mod their BMW, are on a lease.
The one who don't mod their cars are those that drive 5mph below speed limit and trying to get 25mpg on ///M car.

Yep just revert to stock with the clamps. That's what BMW would do if they replaced your muffler

Curious as to how different from stock this midpipe sounds in efficient mode? And how different cold start is?
