They're holding back to keep prices inflated. Maybe 1 or 2 a month per sales center. And some don't get any if they haven't historically sold full M trim lines is what I was told. 2 cents.

Just got a call from my CA yesterday and got an allocation! Hopefully a March build. TR X3MC/ Tartufo interior. Can't wait! Traded in my 15 M3 at the end of Jan. Daniels BMW in Allentown, PA. Great guys to deal with. They only got one X3 allocation from what I was told this month. Not sure about other models. X7 has a big wait list though.

Ordered 2022 X4 M40i back in February and still waiting on allocation. Anyone else having this issue with the X4?

I got my X3 M40i build order. Found out on delivery that they could not provide the wireless charger for cell phone. "Sorry, parts shortage. May be able to fix this later". Got a credit, but wanted the convenience of wireless charge.

Got that one for my 2020 and it fit/work perfectly on the LCY.

Expected delivery is Mid May.

In the market for X3 M40i and started discussions with two local South Florida dealers on an allocation for a build. Curious from those who have received an allocation and purchased an X3 m40i. Did you have a market adjustment? I've seen market adjustments mentioned on the X3M on here, but haven't seen much discussion of market adjustments on the m40i on here. One of the dealers shot me a very casual "Are you aware of the market adjustment on this model" text earlier today.

I think that's more of a dealer by dealer scenario. Had one dealer in town try to mark up several K while my dealer where I have purchase history was like "yea we could do that but it would piss everyone off in the long term. We're more about long term relationships."

Just got my production number. I was told my car is delayed due to me selecting a signature color(Nardo Grey). They expect production to begin end of march or april.

Production of the actual car is 48-72 hours - do the performance center deliver and you can see the whole shabang, logistics and transportation is 2-3 weeks to consolidate shipments to regions.

That is from Status 112 (ready for production) to an actual US dealer inventory. Time in transit alone is about 4 weeks if no stop sales occur.

These cars are produced in south Carolina so production is not that bad. Few weeks from start to delivery.
