I got the Midpipe + MSS Suspension + Race Chip GTS Black installed yesterday all in about 5hrs.

Can't go wrong with this combo at all. I love it. wakes up the S58.

I may do a review if people want. Only had it for 1 day now lol but loving every second of it

Just received my pipe. Thanks Ben! I installed it today and love it. when cruising around there is a slight increase in sound and no drone. BUT when you get on it........ WOW very nice! Stock muffler as well. this is the least expensive way to get some volume out of the exhaust system. Well done BEN!
This was also an easy install. 2 hours total to install without needing a second person. I also did it without a lift I used an exhaust cutter with a zip tie and did not have to drop the axle back.

Great sound. the gurgle is now noticeable.

legit sounds like M Performance exhaust just louder but its just right

Did my install tonight and my first impressions were… Holy shit I’m in love.

I’ve done an exhaust on all my previous cars, Gen5 and Gen6 SS Camaros and none of them felt this rewarding afterward.

Drivetrain is completely stock besides the midpipe and it doesn’t sound that way at all. If I heard this car on the road I’d assume a full exhaust was done and a tune at the least.

I’m a fan of how quiet the exhaust gets and the lack of pops and upshift bangs when in efficient mode as well. My expectations are substantially exceeded and for anyone who bought this car hoping for a true “M” car this should be on the short list of things to do.

My car was purchased used with 13k miles on it so 2 of the 4 13mm bolts were rusted and snapped at the front of exhaust. I ended up drilling them out and purchasing new bolts to replace them with. Besides this install went very smoothly.

I have a Timelapse and some footage of install/after install. Might throw a video on YouTube and link it here soon.

I'm torn between just doing this midpipe and leaving everything else stock, or doing something like a Dinan axle back and leaving the rest stock.

r33_RGSport, considering you have dealt with all sorts of exhaust installs, how would you rate the following in terms of loudness/volume?

1. midpipe + stock muffler
2. dinan axel back
3. akrapovic
4. remus

im assuming adding your midpipe to the three aftermarket axelbacks would be louder in the same magnitude. and your personal preference in terms of sound? personally i want something louder (stock is TOO quiet), but i definitely don’t want something overbearing. flip flopping between a midpipe+stock vs just axelback.

1. Midpipe + Akra
2. Midpipe + Dinan (speculation)
3. Midpipe + Stock Comp
4. Remus Axle Back
5. Akrapovic Axle Back
6. Dinan Axle Back

I'm not. But the all-in cost of the Akra or Remus is about double the cost of Dinan. I think Dinan sounds awesome, I've had it on other builds, and to me unless you have a ton of money to blow on exhaust or just want street cred or something, I don't see the point in spending $5K+ on Akra or Remus.
