Hey folks, for those who have experience with full car wraps I'm curious what you think about the photos I'm attaching. Is it pretty normal for these little open spots or does a high-quality install get the wrap around every corner. Thanks...

That’s not good work. I’ve always heard is buy the installer over the brand of film. Like many things, the barriers to entry for work like this are unfortunately low so there is a wide range of quality work. I would take it back however I’m not sure how much recourse you have.

I believe some installers cut the product by machine and computer program prior to installing. The relief cuts you see are part of that process.
Some installers use sheets and cut by hand. Each believe their process is superior. It boils down to the installer. My car too is white and the dirt lines are just as noticeable. Darker color cars have the dirt too, you just cant see it. |

It's normal for them to cut at corners but unfortunately this is pretty rough work on your vehicle and below average. If it was pre-cut it doesn't look like the machine did a great job of cutting as the edges look on the rough side like they were pulled apart.

Oy, that would bother me. I hope the job was a good deal. Some places charge a lot, others reasonable, but I always research the shop before committing.

It depends on how much you paid and what you paid for. This looks like a basic PPF install. Its not terrible work. However if you paid for a premium install wrapped edges and warranty then it is.
Ive gotten quotes for PPF that was more than double from other quotes made no sense. When I did more research I found out that one does not equal the other.

The installer I used claimed that kit PPF installations, where the PPF is cut by machine based on a pattern, often results in sheets which are not quite big enough for the sheet edges to be fully rolled under seams in the vehicle's bodywork. Using hand-cut sheets can cost more because more film is used and more labor is involved, but allows for more complete edge wrapping.
