ANOTHER new Phytonic Blue X3M Comp
Picked it up this morning and 300+ miles to get home averaging 23mpg. Pleasantly surprised at that! (bearing in mind i went down in a 335d with 39mpg).
A number wee things i liked + Speed Limit shows the upcoming change + Ambient lighting + M HUD is ace + seat/wheel heating is programmable depending on outside temp + like the tech + Mirror Screening (until i move!!!!!!!!!) Downsides? - small scratch in front bumper - dealer will pay to fix it Obviously it doesnt have the initial in gear acc of the 335d, but after it drops a gear or 2 with the slightest of pedal prod, but even limiting it to the 5500rpm, it already feels it picks up the pace quicker. Quieter that the 335d on most roads and doesnt seem too firm in comfort (maybe about same as 335d on sport mode). Thanks to Steveo535 for the tip on checking the Mobility Kit - it didnt have one! I wont bore you with too many pics - others seem to take better ones! I had a real dilemma of a X3 m40i or the X3M. Very happy so far |

The dilemma is in relation to the ride/economy and it being primarily a family car (meaning it will be 80-90% driven like a m40i with kids/dogs). really a m40d is the sensible thing.....but right now its like F*CK IT - live once!!! |

Yes it will drink more but I don't do thousands of miles a year and my last car (F11 535) only did 23mpg. |

Bought a boot liner from CustomCovers and also mats from Travall - few pics below. The mats came rolled up in a box, hence why a little curled at the edges....

Think mines was from another car too - it came with a polystyrene holder that doesnt fit anywhere in the boot of the car.

Wee update - dog guard installed. Fits well and seems ok without those silly vertical struts (due to the divider offering some fixity). Not test drove it though
