So there are a ton of X3Ms in the Chicago area, 2 dealers by me have 5 and 6 on hand right now, and half have been there since launch! don't think these are selling as well as they thought. When F80 came out dealers would never have more than 1. Not sure if its over production, not as much of a market as they thought or a combo of both.

surprised BMW hasn't increased the incentives or residual to help move them, maybe in November?

Is there supposed to be any sort of discount/incentive (I've heard $1,000) for participating in the M Town Tour?

I drove the X3MC at the M Town Tour when they were in LA a couple months back, but I don't recall ever receiving any form of e-mail voucher for a discount/incentive.

I've placed my order for an X3MC with a local dealer here and want to be sure to be able to apply that incentive to my negotiated deal once the car arrives.

2020 X3M Comp

$84,395 MSRP

$1325 down (basically to cover acq fee, title/reg, doc fees)
$824.00/month
7 MSDs

total after rebates = $71,517.6
residual was only about 57% as this is a demo with 3,900 miles (you lose $0.30/mile)

car exactly as I would have spec'd it and since its a lease the fact that its a demo doesn't really matter (has full warranty and I turn it in after 3 years).

depending on how you look at it
12% off before rebates
15.25% off after rebates
14.1% off after rebates and demo residual adjustment figured in

Very good deal! Not easy to find a demo, but I suspect as these pile up on the lots, we'll see some more managers driving them, and some more demo deals.

Hmm if the deal is right for you then I guess go for it....with 7 MSD? I think you could do better with a brand new one. 2-8 miles vs 3k miles on it and no MSDs.

PM me pricing. Thinking of upgrading from '18 S4.
Everything is relative. 200-300 less.
So how much down, what's rolled into the payment , what's drive off at signing.
You determine a lease on even ground by taking all those variables and making it a zero drive off zero down taxes in fees, first month in payment in etc... and divide it up to come up with a monthly payment to compare.
At the end of day it will be 1050 plus a month 36/10
That is a fair number. Anyone can make the optics look good and say $799 $849 $879 a month, but tack on upfronts and MSD and you might be surprised that in reality it is 1100-1200 a month at zero upfront drive off zero down etc...
And you need to pay the broker for all their work 399-599 on top of that. And always negotiate a conveyance fee

Ya - the "no incentives" they have in the official thread is not right. There is a loyalty rebate if you have a BMW and additional lease monies. The $2,750 they gave me was always on the table - they offered it, I did not have to ask for it.

Do these still require an allocation like a typical M car, or not?

Going to wait until end of December or Thanksgiving to buy, and trying to line up all my ducks so I get the best deal possible... hopefully will stay local -- sales person is great and have bought two NON-M cars from her in the past 4 years. They initially offered $4500 off an $84k build (in stock). Not bad for first try in Scottsdale I suppose for an M car but obviously I know they will go lower.

$4500? That's all? Less than half of what others on here are saying they got off...note the post just before yours...they got 11% off $84k roughly $9283 off and then there is loyalty and sometimes lease credit (if you intend to lease) keep looking around.

It's because I told her I was still 30 days away. It's Scottsdale man. That was actually a good first price. Chapman would have just said MRSP or GTFO. Trust me — I'm aware of what others are getting. I haven't even started negotiating yet. I'm actually more curious though about allocations. M cars are limited — certain # per month to each dealer where as nonM cars are not — just wasn't sure if this applies here. Market is softer than 3-4 years ago.

Overall I am going to:
1. Start negotiating closer to holidays.
2. Shop offers from outside the state against theirs as a way for them to match it to get the business or at least come close enough where it's cheaper than flying and driving/shipping back.

I'm betting I can get 15% off if I wait until either thanksgiving evening to sign or Dec 30/31. Prev car I managed 22% off because I waited until holidays came in ready to buy that day and found the one they had on the lot the longest.

Leasing btw. I will not buy this vehicle— suicide on trade. And key to keep lease payment as low as possible with as little down as possible ( no MSDs) to make it marketable for a lease swap in case I want out early.

Sure.

These are sitting on lots all over the country; literally. The fed cut interest rates another .25% so the lease rates hopefully should follow....there is no reason that you couldn't get your exact build right now with an outstanding deal. I did mine this month and made out amazingly like many others....people are also still ordering with about month turn around. You'll get a stellar deal on one sitting on a lot though.

Yeah I'd actually prefer a lot one. The good thing is there's not actually a lot of ways to configure these so it shouldn't be too hard. The one I drove was Toronto Red and the darker brown interior— which was a hideous combination in my own personal opinion. Would have been great if it was more of the Ferrari tan color.

I really think 15% will be possible as these pile up towards EOY. Actually hoping to find a demo as I think I could squeeze it to 20% and get the payment into the $700's with tax and minimal drive off. Either way I think this will be a good stable mate for the Spyder and I won't have to ride in this abysmal 320 anymore. I was completely surprised they managed to make an SUV drive like a real M car.

The same 7 X3M have been sitting at BMW Seattle for a month. They ain't moving. Other local dealers here also with cars not moving according to following online inventories. This is not a popular car and that's good news if you're in the market!

I've found $895-$935 month is doable from bare bones to a exec and vent seat option. Both x3m comp. that takes into account NY tax. And these would be numbers if you factor 36/10 lease with sign and drive off zero and zero down. Everything is rolled into the monthly payment. This is how you evaluate a lease.
No MSDs. Higher priced msrp has a slightly higher discount. Above is loyalty, current BMW support for October and CCA $500 off.
