Allocation confirmed for a March build... my amazing CA managed to find one for me within one week of placing my deposit

I'm getting a comp with MBB over Midrand/Black, 892 wheels, and full shadowline.

My only question is to go with black or red calipers. I've seen lots of pictures of the reds and they look good, but I'm also thinking the blacks might look good with all the shadowline on the vehicle. If anyone as any pictures of a similar spec with black calipers I'd appreciate it!

(Side note, there are so many great specs to choose, it was a lot of fun to pick. I also loved, TR over grey, CB over red. Might have considered SPY if it had the matching interior like the M3)

I'm in a similar position. Put a deposit down on an x3m 2.5 weeks ago at a high volume Massachusetts dealer. My SA told me that they usually get 2-3 x3m allocations a month and that I'd definitely have one when they were released 3rd week of the January. I'm first on the list. Lo and behold, the allocations were released…no x3m or x4m allocations. Just one x5m. Grr. He tells me that there won't be anymore until the third week of Feb but I'm holding out hope for an off cycle release!

Well, after 60 days of waiting in the queue at my dealership for an allocation, I have a production number! I will obsessively be watching the progress now! I am excited to share my delivery in 6-8 weeks:0

I was thinking Blue as my choice but settled on red after seeing one in person MBB w/red calipers.
Blue makes it too blue. Black is meh, not even there. Red says its an M car and not another X3

Ask you dealership. They may have none for the foreseeable future and looking for a swap with other dealerships.

Do you know if your dealer just got the allocation yesterday or was it from last week's release?

Hey, I have 1 X4M allocation that is about to flip in production and 1 X3M allocation for March build. And one of each in stock.

18 Sep, took over dealer allocation, order sent to BMW

20 Sep, @ 111 (order accepted at AG) fm dealer

22 Sep, @ 112 (order schedule for production) fm dealer

24 Sep, @ 150 (production started) fm dealer

12 Oct, in transit fm BMW Canada Genius

18 Oct, in Dealer Inventory, fm BMW Canada Genius (crossing the border)

21 Oct, on train in Montréal, fm SA

25 Oct, delivered to Dealership in Ottawa

Just was at my local dealer Friday to place my order but they did not have an allocation either. They had one for a x4m. She told me they will try and get one from another dealer. Fingers crossed I won't be waiting too long.

I'm fortunate to have a CA who lives to find difficult allocations, I think he considers it his personal mission in life Last year he was able to find me a EOP M240i convertible allocation when there were only a handful in the country.

Best of luck to you guys, hopefully they are able to make a trade or get one soon. If you have a refundable deposit, maybe you can call around to some other dealers.

Yeah, that's kind of what I'm thinking... not to mention the blue is different from MBB and that would bother me... the only choice on my Long Beach Blue convertible was blue calipers and they always bother me a bit.
