What do you guys think of this one?

Want a 36 month Lease
12K miles a year

MSRP $62,440
$750 Dealer Discount

They are asking for $4,000 Down for all fees/drive offs etc

money factor is .00163 ( to me that is high)
Payment is $982.47 per month

Well, that's not for an x3m that's for sure, and a sky high MF

it's for a 2022 X3M40I

And I knew it...the money factor is way out of line. They told me "That's the money factor BMW is putting out right now"

Walk away. That is not good. Is this for an X3 M40. Dealers are being very greedy right now in my opinion.

I knew my deal wasn't the greatest! They called me back and now offered $1000 off the MSRP, but keeping the money factor and the $4000K down. which brings the payment down to $975

Just depends how bad you want it. On principle I wouldn't pay an inflated MF nor any $$$ down other than taxes, tags and fees but dealers are trying to get all they can. Also I have a great relationship with the GM of my dealer so it's a different situation. If you haven't already, cross shop that deal to some other dealers.

I am surprised that with x3m sitting for 90+ plus days dealers are still asking above sticker.

I have not seen any X3Ms or X3MCs sit for more than a week when I was shopping in Q4 2021…

I don't know how accurate cargurus is, but in my area most are 70+ for base x3m, and higher options 90+.

I am on waiting list for M3 but running out of patience and considering X3M. My question is: I should pretty much expect to pay MSRP, correct? I am financing (not leasing).

I am in Southern California and most say they have a 10k premium, but quickly drop to 5k. I am sure if I walked in they would do it at MSRP.

This seems to be the current market in most places.

I spoke to a dealer in norhern California last night, and he was quick to tell me I could get it at MSRP.

Residuals at the beginning of this thread weren't updated since October. Is it the same lease program all this time and when is it expected to change?

Yeah I think you can find MSRP deals now. I have 3 allocations RESERVED. One in production and the other 2 we are placing the orders in the next week. All signed for min MSRP and loyalty. Anymore discounts before delivery will be offered. They are locking in lease rates to the time you put in your credit app or if they go down before delivery then you can take advantage of the lower rates. 2 cents (California)

Current residuals for X3M and M40i are both 56%, IIRC.

I was just told 55% per BMW Sale Mgr. That one percent can make a difference. How do we truly know?

Sorry, should have specified, 56% was for 10K mi/yr.

12K mi/yr might well be 55%.

Yep, just checked the Edmunds lease calculator and 12K/yr is 55%.

I spoke with Luis Chinchilla at San Rafael store on a in stock unit and he thought I could get it at MSRP. If it is still available this weekend might pull the trigger
