I am trading in my tanzanite blue 2016 M4 for a 2022 BMW X4 M Competition.

Marina Bay Blue Metallic
Black Extended Merino Leather
Competition Package
V Spoke 765M Wheels
Driving Assistance Package
Executive package
Front Ventilated Seats
M Shadowline Lights
Remote Engine Start

The dealer thinks I'll have the car within 4 weeks. I just ordered it on Thursday, Oct 19 and mybmw site says it's now in production.

Does anyone have any recent experience with delivers in the US to comment on the dealers estimate?

Sounds stunning that configuration, bet your super excited and yes 4 weeks sounds very fast but I guess if so many are on hold for various bits and they have your order all available it will be even quicker.

Been umming and arring over whether to go for the X3m or x4m.

Can't wait - got the go ahead from the Mrs to get the X3M for her daily. Eyeing some modifications already but mostly want a front lip. Doesn't look like anything available yet though.

Saw these two X3MC at a local dealer. I wasn't fond of the LCI from the press release photos but it actually looks better in person. It does look better on darker colors though. I can live with the rear but it would benefit from a CF diffuser. I don't love the front end but again, could be improved with a lip.

The pre-LCI front bumper reminded me of a mini-X5M and I feel looked much more aggressive. These two where prime comparisons also on the same lot.

The shadowline headlights is a nice contrast on the AW. Not sure if it would be too much on the MBB. Window sticker on both were within $300 of each other. Options were almost the same with just different color combo. Between the two, MBB looks stunning in person and this is coming from someone who prefers and has owned 4 white cars. I would just swap red interior and calipers with the MBB.

I tried to tick the blue box but somehow that blue looked better on the X5M comp than on the X3M comp to me

Great pics by the way and this is the first I have seen of the shadow line headlights.

Agreed. Shadowline headlights are adequate but I don't really care for them. I'm indifferent really.

I WOULD have liked to get the red calipers though… might go the aftermarket route and pay the $400 that they charge for that later on
