The hood thing I'd show it to your nearest bmw dealer. They should take care of it unless it was crashed. |

Surely u tried everything but sure looks like it's simlply not closed. Mine would close and latch on one side only unless I used enough force.

My 2020's hood was off in the same direction, not quite as badly. My husband is a bit of a perfectionist and couldn't stand looking at it in the garage. He was able to loosen the hood bolts and realign the hood to looking really nice, and working much better, the hood closing function works much better when properly aligned. Don't be afraid to adjust things.
My husband also adjusted 3 out of my 4 doors...Spartanburg needs to look a little closer at what comes off the line. |

I absolutely love how this car drives. Makes my commute to work enjoyable everyday. That being said I have been a little disappointed with the build quality as well. I also experienced the same issues as the OP and my car arrived with the front grill scratched up and little parts here and there that needed tightening. Nothing major but just annoying stuff to deal with. My Audi sq5, while not as fun to throw around, seemed to be put together with much more care and the quality of the parts seemed superior.

If you are not getting an audible click from the tow hook cover when putting it on, its not all the way in and that is why it falls out. Snap it in with a little force towards the bottom of the cover.

I have a few pics of my front bumper, which used to have a bit of an overbite. The back end of the hood also did not sit nicely, but when my husband slipped the hood back it lined up perfectly. The las pic shows how much the hood was moved, you can see the paint line around the bolt. He also adjusted the front attachments so the hood closed easier, but still tightly.( sorry I don't know how to flip a photo in this system...)

Insure closing is being done correctly, and see my post #17. Would seem difficult for a vehicle to make it off the line, go through pre-delivery eval at a Dealer and then have a major hood alignment issue arise thereafter? |
