That is the exact problem US manufacturers have with Chinese competition . The main issue I have with this is that you then have people that think the US manufacturer is gouging the consumer .

This is the exact comparison between the Valvetronic and the Alibaba . Do the two items look similar , yes , but there are still a lot of differences between the two . The gripe that people made were that they were the same item but just branded different and that is not the case .

How much engineering is there in an aftermarket exhaust like this though? I've seen some shops near me who make single turbo kits for S58s and B58s. Most aftermarket shops are good at fabrication, but they are not running CFD simulations and heat transfer analyses when they make these exhaust components. Their R&D is basically, weld up the pipes, make sure it fits and that's it.

I have yet to see any genuine IP that could be stolen from making an aftermarket exhaust.

Same exact as valvetronic. The only thing valvetronic does different is they address to "bugs/fixes" with their exhaust and has better customer service than other private labeled alibaba exhaust companies.

props to Bomiz for being the first to do it lmao.

at least vivid racing and Valvetronic asked their manufacturer to change the color of the titanium to not look like alibaba exhausts.

2023 and 2024 is officially the battle of the alibaba exhausts

I hear what you're saying about the engineering that goes into an exhaust but everyone keeps saying that the Valvetronic and the Alibaba are the same but they are not . Most exhausts for a platform are going to be very similar because they can only work with the room they have underneath . Can someone post up a side by side picture of the Alibaba and the Valvetronic and show me where the 2 are the same ? No matter what has happened in the past , from what I have seen from owning the Valvetronic personally and seeing pictures of the Alibaba , the piping is quite different in multiple locations on the exhaust .

I know I'm a rare breed but I am not a fan of valves . I want my exhaust to sound good all the time . Not saying your exhaust won't sound good , but why do you think most supercar owners straight pipe their vehicles . I am not a fan of rolling up to someone as Elon Musk and taking off as John Force

If your valves are fully open it's technically a straight pipe . Very little if any will flow through the muffler section.

We will definitely have valves as it gives users the ability to adjust the volume as they see fit.

Can you share details? Whats the material? Are the OEM valves reused? Do you retain OEM control of the valves? What size and color are the exhaust tips?

Whats the ETA?

Thanks

Still currently in testing. I will make a thread when I have more specifics to share but you can check out any of our other exhaust to get an idea.

Maybe you missed what I'm saying . I'm saying that a lot of supercar owners straight pipe their vehicle to get that pure sound all the time . In other words , they get rid of the valve option . This is what I want to do .

I am not knocking what you are doing . I am merely explaining the option I am taking on mine . My theory is that I purchase an exhaust for the sound it creates . I do not want to kill the sound and only have it on sometimes . If I want a valved exhaust , I would just keep it OEM and do midpipes or downpipes .

LMAO, get a load of this guy

Just saw this one. It is about 95% identical to the stuff I've seen in china. It even looks kind of odd, why is the dual pipe so apart after the first turn?
