I had my springs installed a week ago with 6k on my x3Mcomp. I was thinking I made a mistake the first 3/4 days, but that has changed over the last week. It has improved the ride in comfort, sport, and sport plus. You lose some connection to the road in comfort, but sport and sport plus are perfect- ride quality with the perfect feedback. I'm also at a 1.25 drop all around. On Monday, I'm going to a 265/295 p4 tire setup and I'm going to raise it a quarter inch such that I'm dropped 1 inch all around. I'll report again at the end of next week.

Why raise it? For comfort or optics?

for me, I think the 1 inch number is going to be the best appearance and provide the best ride. Any settling at 1.25 and I think it gets close to violating Ben's suggested setup.

Got you. Do you know if John makes custom BM3 maps?

I don't think so, but I'll inquire on Monday.

Thanks! They are listed as BM3 authorized dealers so I thought they might be doing this.

I have 6900mi on mine, and the ride is perfect. Exactly what I look for from a performance SUV. Had an '18 Macan GTS before this, and while that was softer for every day use, I have no issues with this as is. Definitely don't need the X3M to be any softer than Comfort+ provides.

So far the only one that has installed the MSS Urban's on a base / non-comp is aseth (at least, that I have seen a report on):

I've ordered a set of MSS springs (from Ben) for my X3M base and once I find a shop locally to install, I will report back on the results.

I have the base model and the ride is fine from the pothole city streets to the smooth highways. I'm on stock suspension, wheels and Pirelli summer and winter tires. On the winters it's a bit softer but you lose some grip. I wouldn't change the ride at all because I think it has a good balance from ride and handling for my needs.
