For those that had G01 or G02 M40i with vernasca leather seats what is your comparison regarding comfort of the Merino leather seats in the F97/F98? I always found the G01/G02 seat comfort to be marginal at best like some others.

G01 with Vernasca sport seats, like them a lot. Satisfaction with these seats is dependent on body size and shape.

I had a X3 30i with sport seats in vernasca no seat ventilation and now X3 M with m sport seats in merino and find the later to be more comfortable for me on long trips mainly due to the better back support. I found them both to about the same in lower seat comfort. Merino leather is much better quality.

did a quick write up of this point earlier.

Coming from a g01 m40d. The leather is much better quality and softer in the f97.

In fact, i have found the x3m competition seats to be far more comfortable than the g01 over longer distances.
