Front Passenger Door Fitness Issue

Hi all! Just wanna bring this issue up see if any of you guys have the same problem. My SA came back to me and told me BMW is currently aware of the issue but they don't have a fix yet.

The problem is the front passenger door body kit panel wasn't fit correctly with a gap which caused the exterior panel isn't flush with the rear door panel.

I don't think this is a new problem. My '19 M40i had the issue and my '20 X3MC has it as well.

EDIT: I should have added that the gap on both my vehicles was not as large as yours however

There are a few threads on the G01 Forum on this. I shared some discussion about our G01 and F97 in one of them.

If BMW acknowledged the problem, it will be fixed at some point in the future. I suggest to open a PuMA case with BMW NA just in case.

Reading through the other threads posted, would double sided 3M tape fix the issue?

It seemed one person was going to try that but did not post back results.
