Brooklyn Gray compared to X2 special edition

So far, all of the pictures of BG that I have seen on the LCI look much lighter than the BG that I saw in person on an X2 with a special edition package. Are the paint colors identical or are they different? If the color is different than the X2 version I may change my order. I did not like how dark of a gray and how blue it was on the X2, but the pictures circulating here look much lighter and less blue. I also suspect that the BG will have more depth than Alpine White (which I have ordered) because of the metallic flake in it.

Although metallic, the paint looks more like a mica finish i.e. flakes are not very noticeable compared to other metallic colours.

Check the paint code (think it's C4P) between the two models and that should answer your question about same or different. Suspect it's the same.

Should be the same color across the vehicles (X2, M3/M4, X3/X4, 4)

That color seems to change a lot based on the lighting conditions its under. Definitely the same color across the brand.

Thanks for the confirmation. It is surprising how different it looks on the X2 than the pictures here. The one I saw was near dusk in the shade and it looked noticeably darker that the 2020 silver metallic in the same area and the pics here all look just a touch darker than alpine white.

The color doesn't photo accurately, it's more of a dirty gray in person than blue.

Lol - That's what my missus said when I was showing her colour options.

Told my balls would come off if I even considered this colour.
