Since there has been some interest, I figured I'd post pics of my install. I got the BlendMount BV1-3030 mount for my Valentine1 radar detector. It's a snug fit, but I can still access the buttons for the garage door opener and can still see the alarm light at night.

Here's some pics from the inside and of the alarm light from the outside.

Thanks for the PM reply bmwgrande, I ordered BV1 2018 per Blendmount suggestion and I am not sure what is the difference between BV1 3030 and BV1 2018.

Yeah, not sure. They're probably the same mount based on the pics. I like how you have yours set up so the V1 sits further back, giving you better access to the garage buttons.

I just slide the V1 all the way back, from your pics it looks like you installed the V1 plastic bracket backwards, My V1 release tab is on the front and yours is in the back.

Yeah, I followed the instructions, which is what I get for following instructions.
