Looking for three odd additions to the m40i

I think that the M40i would look awesome with a front brush guard and a pair of Hella lights up front.

I also think that the plain tubes that are in the engine bay could be snazzier.

Lastly, I'd like to get a bug guard for the front. Not a Peterbuilt, flat, trucker style...but one that matches the hood design.

I understand that there are all sorts of sensors that would probably die of a loud and painful death if ANYTHiNG is mounted to the front. But, I'd like to see if anyone has ideas.

Second...those two bars that provide chassis strength in the engine compartment would look great if they were, say, billet. Something a little nicer than the old schoolyard pole that used to have a ball on a rope attached to it. Now that I think of it...was that my generations equivalent to a hoop and stick?

Lastly...A hood deflector to keep the front clip looking decent.

So...flame suit is on. Remember, different ideas are what make us unique.

Paul

Totally agree with the two support poles in the engine bay. I came from an M4 that had the carbon fiber covers on the support horseshoe that looked great. Would like to see something similar for the X3 M40i.

You might need that brush guard at Costco in case you run over a curb (parking) stop or a shopping cart.

Is the fire retardant holding up in the flame suit?

I can see the hella lights looking cool.....but only if it your X3 was shod with the proper rubber - like Off-Road rubber. Brush guard...ummm, no. And yes to those ugly struts in the engine bay....would have been nice to see them in carbon fiber.
