Heated M steering wheel and lane change warning/driving assistant plus
As many of you may know, heated M steering wheel isn't available in combination with lane changing warning and/or driving assistant plus.
Does anyone know the reason for this? Almost all other models (3-series, 4-series, X5 etc.) have this combination available, and the steering wheels are the same. I would guess that the slip ring also are the same between these cars, so I really don't see why it isn't possible on the X3 and X4... |

Wire harness?
I'm going to guess, it's probably the wire harness. Cost cutting for the customer. Someone that lives in a warm climate area may not want to pay the extra for something he/she will never use.
BTW, the Melborne Red is a beautiful color for you X4, grats |

But they could just charge the customer, as they do with everything else.
Heated steering wheel isn't standard in the other cars either, but at least it can be combined with the driving assist functions. Thanks. |
