CB X4 35d with Lightweight quad exhaust

Hey guys,

I would like to give you a look at our new X4, customized with a Lightweight quad exhaust. I think it looks amazing and really changes the look of the car!

If you like to, I`d get some more pics from different angles to give you an idea!

Yes, this is all X4 owners wet dream - we want more details- preferrably pics of components and installation.

I believe I can see the European elecrically manouverd tow hook - how is that possible? I need details of supplier!

This could be the final touch on my vehicle, which is already lowered.

On a serious note, name of exhaust brand, cost, time to install, exhaust note? Is that the 2 liter or 3 liter? Diesel or petrol? Will appreciate more details

The company is called "Lightweight Titanauspuffanlagen"
I got their titanium exhaust on my m235i.
The quality is the best you can get, so it was an easy decision to get another one for the x4. But here we went for the stainless steel version.

The car is a 35 diesel and the hardest thing in the installation was cutting the rear bumper on the right. But they did a great job. The rest was straight forward, nothing special. All in all I would say it was about 3 hours of labour for everything.

The sound changed a bit, the car sounds more aggressive when accelerating, but it is NOT louder which Marc, the owner of the company, told me before. But I was okay with it. If you want it louder and even sportier you could buy an additional sound module for your car from him. It sounds insane with it!

Here is a link to the product:
http://www.lightweight-titanauspuffa...mw-x3-f25.html

Let me know if you have any other questions!

TomaGo, X4guy: first I am being harrassed for not supplying pictures when I described my lowering and the result of that. I took time to wash the car, wait for a sunny day and take pictures at the right moment.

Since A...OH obviously is new to the X4 forum, I wanted him to know what alternativ he hast to further improve looks and performance.
I have posted the picture three times on X4 threads in various themes - and twice on X3 threads - I thought that they should know what they are missing

Thank you! But I`m not a fan of lowering springs on stock dampers.
The car will not be modified anymore. I just wanted some exhaust tips on both sides.
Maybe he will get some black kidneys, but that`s it!

A...OH: very interesting INFO. Price is acceptable and I would go for the dual exhausts (1+1) since I believe quad is for V8:s.

BMW has announced that they will sell a 1+1 for X3/X4 with a valve for off-road driving.
I will wait for that before doing anything. I had given up 1+1 since I thought that my towhook was in the way, so this is good news.

I will defy some on the forum by supplying a picture of the coming BMW exhausts

Note: all cars in the hands of German BMW people are lowered!

It was all just for good fun, your lowered X4 looks awesome, imagine it with quad pipes, it will be the envy of many here!

Thanks for this, sorry can't read German, but the 1799 Euro includes all parts for the install? It says X3, it fits the X4 without extra elbow grease? Any increase in HP with this exhaust? This is so far the cheapest quad exhaust I have seen!

And you won`t find any better! Trust me. The whole manufacturing is in germany, the owner showed me everything detailed when I was their for my titanium exhaust. It def is a piece of art!

Yup it`s the same price for x3/x4 and comes with all stuff you need.
You just have to do the install and the cutting of the rear bumper.

I`m not sure about any hp increases since I didn`t measure it and I can`t tell from driving since the car got the exhaust less then 3 days after its delivery.
