Just picked up my X3 m40i black with extended shadow

What a difference coming from '21 X5 (G05) with air suspension. I test drove X3 m40i before so I knew ride wasn't going to be too harsh but it's actually still very comfortable even on these wheel/tire combination in Comfort and Eco Pro mode. I love the red interior, it's not super bright red and I love the current iDrive which as a major deciding factor for me. Happy to be part of the team X3 now.

I have the same exterior colour and shadowline, but 21” wheels.

100% without a doubt but I remember to install these you have to go through a lot of work like removing wheels, taking off the arches, and so on.. Do they black reflective overlays?

Its genuinely not that difficult tbh

I’m not sure if I even took off my wheels or simply turned full lock on each side

Burr001 is in Queens. He could likely help you through it in the time it takes him to eat the pizza you bring along

He’s pretty much overseen most/all of the mods I’ve done to my X4 from a considerable distance

Goor to know! I'll have to get in touch with him. Won't fail state inspection, right? They are getting more and more strict with these like adding tint check etc..

No, no reflection with this particular kit. I haven't had a problem with PA inspection but if you think you might have an issue, just peel it off for inspection and you might be able to simply replace it (never tried it). If not, it's only $15 for another set and another year.

I have them on my Dark Graphite M40i. Get the Charcoal which is darkest they make and you'll barely notice the side markers.

It's just self adhesive. Clean the side marker with alcohol first, then stick on.
