Front fog lights
Is there a way/trick to turn on the front fog lights without turning on the headlights? On my 325Ci you simply turn on the parking lights then turn on the fog lights that didn’t work..

Haven’t seen a way to do it automatically, it’s a pretty manual process. My bigger issue is I can’t get the halo’s to dim with only parking lights, they run at full power until the headlights are on. It’s in bimmercode and I’ve tried multiple times, maybe just won’t work. I have the adaptive led (just not icons). Pre-lci

DITTO...if you go to the www.bimmercode.app website and click on the SUPPORTED CAR link at the top center of the page...you can select your model and then get a list of areas that can be coded and the module in which it can be found.
See example below..found under the LIGHTING heading:

Happy coding. I’m sure there are other parameters you might enjoy. Go through the supported coding parameters on the website for your model so that you can make a list. Then you can code all the things you find interesting and make all the changes in one coding session. If you go longer than a few minutes….you should either break up the coding session or hook up to a battery charger so that your BMW doesn’t shut down during coding. This is where owners can start to have issues if a module loses power while you’re trying to code it.

Coded now I can run fog lights with parking lights during light rain. The dealership said they could make the change for $260 it cost me about $140 for program down load and one dbx it also works on my 2003 325Ci for key functions removed delays for windows and sunroofs🤠

Does the bimmer code let you turn on cornering lights with any option, there is no fog lights on G01 any more but cornering lights actually help a lot, only if we could enable them on demand.

I was able to code them to come on in reverse, with turn signals (as opposed to just when turning) and with high beams on, but I don’t see how you could get them on all the time. I guess you’d need a switch like a fog light switch or to dial them down to zero turning angle. Not sure that’s possible and you’d have a problem with the opposite side on your turn turning off. Note, I’m pre-lci with id6 (2019).

I haven't tried this yet but have a question. I've coded my fog lights to come on with high beams and with parking lights but if you just hit the fog light button typically the headlights come on too. With it coated for the parking lights will the headlights still come on if you hit the fog light button while your lights are off? Or does it now come on with just the parking lights?
