Is there a website to see dealerships with stock ventilated seats?

Hi

Finding it frustrating to look for cars that have the ventilated seat option, haven't found any via website.

Thanks

If you haven't already seen the posts, many users on hear have complained about the comfort of the ventilated seats.

Some have complained about the comfort of the regular seats as well but I'd say a majority of the complaints stem from the ventilated seat option. The ventilated seats are also lacking bolsters as well.

I wanted ventilated seats, too. But I read about them here, so I had my dealer find a car with them so I could check them out (they had an X4 M40i).

And, sure enough, they sucked. It's amazing to me how different the seats are and no one, not my dealer, not any reviewer I've seen, and not BMW, ever mentions this.

The thigh bolsters are very tight and unadjustable. So much so, that I, regrettably, opted not to get that option.

We got them on our 2020 X3 M40i. My wife put them on the must have list. They are fine but we are coming from an MDX which had average to below average seats, so our expectations were low. Too bad the X3M sport seats with ventilation are not available on the M40i.

I use Car Gurus and Auto Trader but I don't think either of them offer a search selection for ventilated seats.

We have them in our X3 and I'd advise to personally check them out before deciding. As has been mentioned, they are firm and don't have much bolstering at all. We've adjusted to them and they are pretty good. Not the most comfortable I've had but not a deal breaker. The ventilation works well - Can be a little noisy on the highest setting - We've found medium setting strikes the best balance.

I've driven both for extended periods in hot weather. Not only are the ventilated seats radically less comfortable, the ventilation is almost useless. I usually always get ventilated seats and am so glad I decided not to on this.

I have them (wife wanted).
First the seats have no support and you have to hold the steering wheel if you try to drive 'enthusiastically'
Second, ventilation function barely noticeable and practically useless.

I got Merino seats and body is sweating much less than in normal leather. I would look for Merino leather.

I went to a couple of dealers over here in blighty, wasnt looking for seats specifically but wanted other options and colour, they searched the whole of the BMW UK stock for me and even shipped my car in from another dealer stock, they'll put the effort in if they want your dosh.

You should try to find a G30 with them in dealer inventory and check them out first hand.

Thanks, I'd love a G30, but think I still need a SAV/SUV with 2 young kids. Wife struggles driving larger cars.

Found an M40I with ventilated seats about 70 miles away, courtesy loaner. Phytonic blue which isn't my desired color, but not a deal killer. Fully loaded it seems. Local dealer has many X3s/m40i but most are bare bones on the m40i side. None have ventilated seats except the X3M that I could see.

When you say thigh bolster, do you mean the section in the front of the bottom cushion that slides back and forth?

Just got a 2020 30i with ventilated seats and that part is adjustable.

Don't do it! The ventilated seats have NO lateral support, you'll be sliding all over the place ever time you take a turn. Even the stock seats could use more lateral support IMO.

No. I meant the outside of each leg where the seat has a 'raised lip' keeping your thighs from moving side-to-side.

cargurus and autotrader haven't much help in finding a 30i with ventilated seats. Would like to test drive one.
