Did you install springs too?
How do you like the wider stance?

Any chance of some photos from both ends showing both wheels?

I didn't want the front as wide looking as the rear. I was going to go with 15mm on the fronts but they were backordered with Turner and their dealers.
I may change the fronts to 15mm at some point. I will try to get some more pics this weekend. |

So I finally ordered the BMW M Performance Carbon Fiber interior trim kit this week and installed it tonight. It was an interesting project...not as bad as I thought but not easy either. I think it really takes the interior up a notch and I am happy with the end result.

Where did you source the trim kit?
Thanks.

I got the kit from here...it was the best price I could find and they have great customer service (ordered other parts from them last year)...
https://www.getbmwparts.com/partloca...subcat1=222110 I didn't get get the Carbon Fiber shifter since I thought the trim was enough but that can be changed as well. I followed the instructions I found here... http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/sh...-Interior-Trim Picture links seem to not be working at that link now but luckily I had saved a copy of the posting...I am going to reply to that post to see if the original poster can get the pics working again since they were very helpful for anyone looking to do this themselves. It took me about two hours to do...didn't rush it since I didn't want to break anything! Last edited by ctdw; 07-01-2017 at 06:04 AM.. |

Same here...the aluminum trim is OK but I was really not happy with it. Happy to answer questions you have with the install. When you order the trim, order some spare trim clips that are listed in the instructions link above. I didn't end up breaking any but you would not want to be stuck with a half done door if you did. I just added a few clips to my order with the trim kit...they are cheap.
