Well written, funny review.
I can totally relate to the 65" TV fitting nicely. The reaction from my local Best Buy kid when he saw the wife pull up in the X4 was "hmm, that might not work" was priceless. I had done my honework using a box from a recently purchased dinner table, so I knew it would. My comment after the TV slid right in was "... and 0-60 in 4.6 sec." To the OP - you can adjust the height and brightness of the HUD image to find the sweet spot of being able to see under the rearview mirror and the HUD not being "in the way" - at least for this 6'1 enthusiast.

Thanks for the feedback, DBU. Like you, I'm also 6'1". For some reason, and it must be the way I like to adjust the seat, I can't find a sweet-spot for the HUD image without cutting if off on the bottom. I haven't had this issue with any other HUD-equipped Bimmer (including my M4), but alas, it is what it is. A small nit in what's otherwise an absolute hoot of a car.
(And also like you, I'm still amazed that TV box fit. Half-inches to spare!) |

AM,
Got a kick out of your review. A good combination of tech review and "Hey, don't scoff, the car is that good!" Car has been great fun for me, and transported me up the mountain reliably all winter long -- a lot of snow this year! Also fun enough that I can leave my 911 in hibernation until spring is fully arrived! Duke
