6WB Retrofitted

Just finished my 6WB retrofit on my 2013 X3 today, special thanks to aspame82 and Shawn for the coding help. I will be writing a guide on this in future since there are still few minor issues need to be resolved.

I will appreciate the hell out of a guide because this retro scares me with all that can go wrong.

Excellent work! Would like to see the guide for the coding. Have a 6wa waiting for a year since I never found someone to come it for me, but will give it a try with your help!

looks great. It's a nice way to update the interior. The night shots look really good.

I saw this and was super excited, since I actually just ordered one form bimmer-tech, (they includeall coding), and the discount over the holiday weekend made it reasonable. However, after a week, they never reached out to schedule coding, send an order update, actually ship the unit, or anything else, so I just asked to cancel the order. Pretty poor service from a company that's charging a premium for said service.

Anyways, the future guide would be appreciated!

I got most problem out of the way, I'm trying to figure out how to erase VIN and mileage on used 6WB cluster otherwise the car won't show any CBS data.

6WA should be easy to retrofit becuase this was a factory option. All you need is add VO and code Kombi, there is already a guide on 6WA retrofit.
