that's what the front page says, but I don't think its accurate

my last gen X3:
183.4
74.1
66.1

new one is:
186.1 (M40i)
74.7
66

so it has grown, by 2.7" in length and 0.6" in width

the E53 had a wheel base of 111". this is 113" while the outgoing X3 had a wheelbase of 110
I think that's on the b pillar between the two doors.

What car has that standard in this price point?!?!

Lexus RX base model (43k MSRP) and Audi Q5 (42k MSRP). Lexus NX (35k) and pretty much anything from Toyota nowadays offers those things standard (even a $20k Camry).

Looks good to me. I find it interesting how they went from connecting the lights as part of the current model's LCI and in the redesign they're not connected, but it still looks good so who cares I guess. Does the new model no longer offer the manual sunshades for the rear passengers? Having you children I notice these things. (Usually the early press models are fully loaded so it makes me think they dropped this option from the upcoming model.)

They should have used F25 with M Sport package on comparison images.

I find it hard to believe lane change assist and dynamic cruise are standard. I can kind of see the other technologies because they can use a relatively inexpensive stereo-optical setup though.

You can look more into it but here's the gist. They come standard on most, if not all, Toyota and Lexus vehicles. Auto high beam standard where as BMW charges you $500 for something that should be standard on a $55k base price vehicle...

So you asked the question first implying no one else has them and when corrected you say hard to believe...

It's always been like that a comparable Lexus has more options already included than a BMW. For a German brand a lot of options are extras.

I think what BMW has done a great job of here is making the X3 look good from every angle. No obvious corner cutting from any side. Very cohesive, I approve.

X-Line is my fave. The only thing I am on the fence about is the size of the kidneys.

Asking "What car has that standard in this price point" isn't implying that no one else has that......it asks "who has it". I feel like your trying to make a point....what are you trying to make a point of?

But BMWs have improved driving dynamics that you can not get on the cars you are comparing features with

Coefficient drag number is nice at .29
Now only if it came with a nice Diesel engine as well for great fuel economy. Would be a perfect SUV
