My 2021 m40i does this too. It feels like are running over a small rock that then pops.

Oddly enough, the first time it happened was after the tires were changed..

I'm starting to hear the click in my 2022 30XDrive sometimes, also. It typically happens when I back out of parking with steering wheel cranked to the limit. I've heard similar clicks on several other vehicles I've owned in the past (non-BMW), and I've always assumed it was just the brake calipers moving a bit and never took them in. But are we saying it can be a bigger issue brewing in the front suspension?

Sometimes I hate this forum, it highlights issues that you may not have noticed but after reading threads think - HEY that's me too :->

I get a similar clunk which is reproducible when doing a three point turn in road. RHD vehicle slowly creep forward and full lock on steering wheel to right, brake to stop then let go of brake slightly and full lock to left in reverse. CLUNK.

I assumed like above was brake callipers but will notify in next service in a couple of 1000miles.

Anyone else find anything?

2023 M40i here and in the driveway we have to cut the wheel hard to work around cars and I can feel it knock. I was reading an article that seems it may be normal. Some surfaces I notice nothing, so thinking it may be tires grabbing/skidding? Just making notes of odd things in the car to have checked out while in warranty.

I have a very quiet click also on my 2021 X3. Sometimes it happens even without any steering angle.

I’m thinking it may be solved with a similar approach to this: https://youtu.be/sIJsnr7VH0k?si=zm2bPKziA0rPWEND

My dealer replaced the tension struts last week and I have not heard the noise since the fix.
