Changing wheel size during the build process
Can you change the wheel size on an ordered x3, without extending the wait time on the build process, I ordered last wednesday,I thought about going with the 21 inch over the standard 19s

Pre LCI there was an option (M sport package) to increase the top speed to 155mph with performance summers 20 or 21 inch. It wasn’t available with 19” all seasons. Not that you’ll be able to do 155mph without loosing your license, but I think the M40i deserves it!

As long as your order is in Status 111 (order accepted) or 112 (scheduled for production), you can change specification. Once it reaches Status 150 (production begins), no further changes are allowed. Ask your Client Advisor, Genius, or check MyBMW for your current order status.

As said, if you go with the 19" wheels your speed limiter will be set at 130mph, you have to get the 20" or 21" wheels to get the factory 155mph speed limiter.
