X5 Gear Shift Knob Retrofit

Does anyone know if this is possible? I like the look much better than what's in the X3.

Bump. I’d love to hear if this is possible as well.

New G05 shifter? Might be out luck - if it's part of the new center control console:

Its been doable in the past, you dont need to change whole thing for gear knob.

Do you by chance have a link to some collateral to find out more about how this has been done in the past? (I realize I’m probably asking for a lot here!)

There's a G01 gear selector switch cover repair kit for the G01. The new electronic gear selectors look to be entire units:

With older generations you could purchase a gear selector and swap it out since they were screwed in.

Last gen X3 had two different gear selectors.
