Wheel advice

Great forum and I appreciate any help you all are willing to give. I'm trying to figure out whether a square setup will work:

Flow One F5s; 20x10 et40; 12mm spacers front; and 10mm spacers in the rear.

I love the look of the Flow One F5s and they're super light. There is a great deal on the 20x10s on TireRack, but they're listed as "rear only." I can't find 20x8.5s anywhere. Plus, I'm not really crazy about losing an inch of width from my OEM fronts - I'd actually like to go with wider tires than OEM.

I don't know anything about wheels sizing and this will be my first aftermarket set. But based on the wheel math I taught myself today . . . the F5 square set up and spacers (i) should be the safe on clearance and (ii) will give me approximately the the same fitment as adding 10mm spacers to my OEM 765Ms.

Am I wrong?

G@#da*&it. Pretty sure my wheel math wasn't the problem. The 20x10s have a 5x114 bolt pattern.

Same question . . . but now I'm considering a 20x9.5 et45 with 20mm spacers front and rear.

Seems like a lot of spacer.

Does that make your set up the equivalent of 19x9.5 +5?
So your wheels would be 20mm further out than mine.

Am I thinking of this correctly?

What do you think about bolt pattern adapters? Are they any better or worse than spacers?

I could pick up the 20x10 et40s with 5x114, and use a 5x112 to 5x114 adapter. If I'm going to use spacers anyway, the adapter would act as a spacer.

tbh I got smaller studs that allow for running 5x114. I ended up going with a different set of wheels so I didn't need them. I think running 5x114 would look better due to the size offered.

Sell you the studs for a good deal if you're interested.

I had no idea that was an option. So all I would need to do is swap out the studs?

I'm definitely interested in the buying studs if that's the case.

Would I need to swap the studs back to run my oem wheels?

You screw in new studs with thread lock and that's it. You can run 5x112 and 5x114...I recommend getting Amazon spacers. Fraction of the price compared to others. You can run oem wheels.

This is what I got...it's not gold tho. I'll sell for 80 shipped. lmk
