Coolant pump over current

Get ready to laugh. So I had an issue with a leak so I was testing with water. I drained almost everything and let it sit over night. Came out this morning to freezing temps and fixed the issue. Unfortunately, some water must have stayed. Thankfully it doesn't look like any damage has been done, but upon starting and shutting off the car, it threw a code for coolant pump deactivated - over current. I'm assuming that if no damage was done to the water pump, then I have to wait for this thing to thaw. Just wanted some input. Anything is appreciated!

Trying to figure out what happened. You drained the coolant, tested with water and drained the water out. The residual water was frozen and you started the car after refilling with? Did you bleed the system before starting? Please fill in the blanks.

It ended up being slightly frozen. Just wanted to give an update. I was able to thaw it by running the car for a few minutes so it couldn't have been that bad. I drained it after and refilled with a proper mixture and all is well now. It was just the pump being switched off to protect itself.
