Dice Media Bridge

Hoping there's someone out there that's had this situation...

I have an '05 X3. I have the Bluetooth working for phone calls. I don't see an aux input anywhere in the car (not in the console compartment facing rear seats), so I am looking for a solution to stream music via Bluetooth.

I have read from other posts one of the solutions is a Dice Media Bridge.

I found one on eBay for $70. Thinking about buying it. If anyone has installed one:
1. Where is the unit installed? Ideally it wouldn't be visible
2. Can anyone confirm this solves my problem (i.e., allows for Bluetooth music streaming)?
3. Would setting this up interfere with my Bluetooth connection to the car for calls?

Thanks!

Yes, it works. Installs in the center console. I have it in my 2008 X3

The unit is stand alone.
The unit can be stationed one of two places...
1rear driver side behind the panel (connection cable is totally long enough)
2under the cupholder center console
You'll want to make sure the installation directions are included with the unit.
Not really a headache but once connected and functional and adjusted to your likes, you'll be satisfied. Small hiccups over time but we'll worth the time and effort 😉
