It is only on when the turn signal is on. If you are always getting the audible warning then you are always at risk of striking a car in your blind spot when you change lanes.

PS Car Toys installs the audible feature but they don't tie it to much of anything in the car. I think they supply computer, hardware, speaker, etc. Not what I am looking for. |

Never tried coding it, but BDC_BODY (see post #1730) has an item called FREQ_BLINKEN_LED under 3141 DG_3141. Its value is set at 0.66 Hz. Try coding it lower. Maybe it will do what you are looking for.
However, let me note that indicator lights are not present on cars for the purpose of drivers' liking. They are there so that others can tell the driver's intentions. Because the rear indicator lights on US cars are not amber, if you set the frequency too low, other drivers may confuse your indicator lights for intermittent braking (assuming they are in the lane next to you and see only one rear light--the very condition when you want to make it crystal clear that you are about to change lanes or make a turn). |

I just tried coding with an ENET cable and Ethernet to Lightning adapter for the first time, holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit is it quicker than Bluetooth dongle!!
Reading BDC module has gone from taking nearly a minute to less than 5 seconds!! |

Ive just been keeping the ENET cable and USB key (for driver-profile backup) in my center console... Took a quick look for any new settings in Bimmercode and coded Sport Individual as default while my wife popped into the post office. It really is just a matter of seconds.
Sport Indv with Sport for engine (throttle response + exhaust burble) and Comfort for suspension and transmission feels like the proper all-purpose around-town setup. |

If you are in US and worry about that, then it's up to you and dont do it. I'm not in US and for the fact that my other brand car had led indicators and the flashing rate is almost half slower than bmw and was from factory. Hence the question. I thought the forum has no police running around ?? |

Not police, just a different angle to consider. It happened to me one day when I was driving downhill next to a car, about to pass it. Its indicator light was so slow that I really thought it was braking on and off when it suddenly started moving to my lane.

Ok guys GoodGuyAvi is back lmao.
My Control display brightness are too dim at night. (No matter what u changing in idrive settings) I usually don’t use my integrated idrive navigation however i leave my default screen in navigation 250mi away distance for the nice live wallpaper. -Activate truly manual adjusting of brightness setting of Control screen. (U can manually set up low or higher brightness (no matter of interior light sensor value in Option>Display settings>Control display>Brightness) In Expert mode: NBT selection search: DIM_VARIANT Set it to “Old”. Code it Enjoy it Last edited by GoodGuyAvi; 09-11-2019 at 09:25 PM.. |

Yes. It's possible with BimmerCode. You must use expert mode. Go to DKOMBI2; go to the first branch called 3000 Anzeige_Konfiguration. Under it, find MPA_MSP_VIEW_ENABLE. Change it from grau_weiss (value 01) to orange (value 00).
