Is this an OEM tune or an aftermarket flash tune?

It’s a flash tune like Bootmod but seems to get more power

Wonder if it would work on the LCI's coming out?
Torque is different, assuming ECU is the same??

I think the issue was unlocking the new Bosch ECU. If Mission (and I’m sure Bootmod will crack the code soon) can do that, writing the tune for 21 and 22 LCI should be easy. I have no idea whether different tunes will be necessary for between 21 & 22.

Considering most likely only the engine tuning varries between the 21 and 22, similar to the Comp and Non-Comp, the unlock will also apply. I consider this a win for us lowly non-LCI folks to level the numbers.

This is great news!

I would bet good money that the LCI torque boost that has everyone's panties in a wad is BS marketing. These motors were seriously underrated when originally released and have proven on dynos to make a lot more HP and TQ then even the new BMW claimed numbers. Time will tell when the LCIs hit the dyno.

Just my humble opinion.

Time has already told, the current M3/4 dynos are no different than the F97/8 dynos when looking at like for like machines.

Nice, my 2020 X4M on MP e50 tune went 2.94 0-60 and 10.77 1/4 on a regular road with 255 up front and 265 in the back (stock everything)

Since then, I upgraded to 265 in the front and 295 in the rear (MPS4S), removed the charcoal filters, and installed better filters.

I can't imagine on a prepped surface or unprepped even now. I'm scared launching will break something 😁

What kind of filter do you have ? Does it make any whistling noise? Those numbers are insane, I can't wait !!! Does it pull on the freeway?? 😛

Intake area sound a bit better, but more so noticed a difference with the tune. I even tried keeping the intake top cover off and it wasn't much louder. (only revved while staying still, didn't try it driving)

It pulls any and everywhere and is scary fast. 650s/720s (not sure) tried to dust me like a week ago with 5 people in the car and trunk full of luggage and couldn't 20-120. (it was side by side, he maybe pulled 1/4 of a car - wasn't an official race, but he tried to get away and finally turned off to another road)

60-130 isn't near as fast as coupes, but the 0-120 is so fast. 120+ is super fast, but would probably get walked by other cars.

Did you take charcoal filters out? Most people swap filters and delete charcoal filters at same time so tough to say which makes the difference. I’ve found the charcoal filter delete on other BMWs help responsivenes

Never mind. You did.

I love the Eventuri drop in filters. But removing the charcoal units did absolutely nothing for the S58. It's simply there to prevent outgasing / fumes from the engine / motor escaping into the air.

I did the same while installing my eventuri Engine cover, filters and scoops...And when revving with the cover off, the turbo "whooshing sound" and what I assume is the recirculating valves was very audible...

I recorded a video, and will locate it, upload to youtube and post it here...

Still disappointing but, videos of my X4M passing friends you can now hear a slight intake sound over my rather loud exhaust setup...
