I wonder if the ride quality will be improved. Like the M5 comp did.

This has to be one of, if not the most significant LCI in recent memory. I miss the days when you might get a few new colors and led taillights, lol.
Who says hp increase? Surely it won’t me more than M3. I’ve always suspected these hp “increases” are BMW just being more honest each year with actual power from these motors.

Wonder if the driver seat will be changed to something larger and more comfortable like the X5M seats. Test drove the '20 X3M and i felt really cramped and my nutz were pinched cause the side bolsters too narrow. Seats in the larger Ms are amazing.

same man. I'm actively looking for a 2020 x3mc. It's got perfect gauges, exterior styling, and believe or not, I prefer the interior over the new design. It seems really weird that the shift knob that debuted on the m5 and is on the x3m got axed so quickly

That's a good point about the shifter, I really like the 2020 shifter. Having the buttons on the top they are easy to adjust the shift speed. While I haven't tested the new shifter yet the buttons seem to be in an awkward position.

Not really. Look at the previous 3 and 5 LCIs. Software upgrades, but no real changes to the center stacks. This is a pretty big interior update in contrast to other model LCIs.

The interior of the E90 didn't change with the LCI - the exterior had the significant changes.

Ok if that's really what it will look like, then new interior be damned, I'm good with my 2021, LOL.

True I was thinking more exterior. The idrive upgrade was a big leap though.

Because iDrive7, 2022 X3M will have remote start, correct? The 2021 model not having remote start was a deal breaker for me.

There's no reason that the 2021's can't have remote start. It's available in all idrive 7 iterations regardless of hardware. It's just up to BMW to release it.

BMW is known for holding back features on lower models in their lineup in order to protect the upper model attractiveness.

Gotcha. Now comes the question if the remaining 2021 on the lot will be discounted nicely or just wait for the 2022.
