F97/F98 BMW X3M / X4 M LCI reveal by June 9th

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Memo went out informing dealerships that BMW will be holding a webinar from Munich to showcase the X3/X4 M LCI on June 9th.

This likely means the official premiere should be before June 9th - BMW rarely, if ever, releases a product to dealers before the public.

Updated with teaser:

I have to imagine these won't hit dealers until later this summer/fall and inventory will be extremely tight. Will be interesting to see the new front end and tailights, from spy pics looks to be quite minor. New rims are what I am on the lookout for

This is exciting news. Others had speculated they may skip 2022 X3m due to the chip shortage. I'd imagine it would not hurt to get my name on the list asap for an order.

Yeah, my dealer told me they wouldn't have the LCI X3M this year, but of course that was in context of me being at the dealer looking at a '21.

They just posted an official video on Instagram. Appears middle dash is different and maybe individual colors (X4M is yellow in the vid). Otherwise hard to tell

I just checked BMW USA website. There’s 37 X3Ms within 100 miles of me. Seems like a lot.

Yep looks like it is getting the new center console, AC, etc. Let the 2021 buyers remorse begin, lol

So glad I bought a 2021 when they go and upgrade the entire interior for the 22. Way to screw over early adopters, BMW. Unreal

Is changing the entire interior not a major change? This is the first time in 27 years of BMW ownership that I can remember a change this significant to the interior.

It is a big change, but they aren't screwing anyone over by doing it.

Interior seems like it will be similar to that of X5M, not a huge difference IMO
I’m more jealous of the exterior refresh. I just got into a ‘21 in April and knew this was coming

Instagram vid looks like frozen portimao blue and São Paulo yellow from G80..?

I bet they heard the complaints of it being too tame.

I doubt they changed anything in the interior except for what's in the pictures/video - the center stack area and center console. Easily changeable areas.

They re-routed the ignition button, so we know the dash is partially different as well.
