This is a huge miss by BMW. They could make a lot more money if they made it easy to have people upgrade parts with newer/different model ones and listing backward compatibility.

The full set is ~900USD from the dealer.

They are on back order, but a friend ordered a set recently and they took 12 days to arrive.

Ask him if he can provide a picture of his receipt. That seems awfully cheap for the US. 12 days is great! My local dealership said back ordered for months,

They look soo much better than the old lights, I did leave all of the trim off just in case I changed my mind but they are definitely staying.

Hi. They look awesome mate. Just ordered a set my self and they should be arriving in a few days. I have seen a video online, but it was from the US and not sure if there wiring advice would be the same as UK? Don’t suppose you would like to share which pins you swapped to get them working?

Does anyone have pictures or a diagram of the pins that have to be moved around? Pretty simple to do? I'm assuming no splicing or cutting etc involved? I want to order a set for our 2020 we just bought. We used to have a 2022 and my wife hates the 2020 tailights.

Thanks!

Did you ever get yours wired up? Did you just follow the de-pining instructions in the video? Currently when I press the brakes the trunk lights illuminate amber and the outer red tailights come on which isn't right lol

Did you buy a set labelled as plug n play? There some that claim you dont need to re-pin, was wondering if it's just marketing or if it holds true

I thought the bayoptiks ones do not require rewiring? According to the page that is what it says at least.

The bayoptiks one come from China and are Euro spec so they won’t work properly with the US cars. Technically they’re “plug and play”, they just won’t operate right

I assumed the plug and play was for Euro spec cars and USA ones would still need to be de-pinned.

I wish you could get these with the normal USA spec turn signals though (still orange is ok). Not a huge fan of the dynamic signals.
