Sunroof ambient lighting install

imo the light is good but not perfect.
Light is slightly brighter than the doors and it can not show white light.
Its more like pink in my car than white.
also i had to stick it with glue on the frame from the sunroof.
otherwise it slipped inside the roof cover.

this is what it looks like on my car, also the lcd climate control and B&W upgrade speakers from ali...

Clearly this forum is working really well because I posted a response a few weeks back. But it froze it seems when uploading pictures. Anyways.

A FYI for anyone attempting this.

Make sure you remove the under the dash light housing that you will plug the harness into.
I was lazy and did not and when plugging the harness back in I bent one of the metal prongs inside and did not know. This in turn shut off my entire left side ambient lights.

It took me a long time to figure this out because all I did was unplug and plug back in. And it stopped working. Made no sense at all.
But I got it working. And have yet to install the sun roof lights.

Ordered. Out of curiosity, when you select the lighting setting where it's split two colors
(like Blue/white), does the sunroof choose the main color or the white?

It will be the color projected from what the footwell selects.

I mean you can't drive and stare at them and take in all that lighting glory...do you enjoy the light produced from the doors and dash? its in addition to it thats all. So is it worth the 82 bucks, that for you to decide. LMAO People have spent on new emblems more than this but you don't drive looking at the emblem or new door projectors with new logos. You don't drive with the doors open, it is just there.

Here's my contribution. Very high quality I must say. I'm very impressed with the parts I've received from Ali express recently.
