who will be buying an X4 in 3-4 years?

wow, I knew they were designing it but I hadn't seen concept pictures until seeing the article on the front page of bimmerpost. looks just like a mini
X6 (which I like), this would be perfect, bigger than a X1 and more sporty than a X3, sure it will cost a couple thousand more, but thats okay.

Since it sounds like its 3-4 years away, no reason not to grab the X3 now and wait for the X4M then trade the X3 in for it!

Big fan of steering feel, too. After my run through the mountains (not alps) yesterday, I'd suggest the feel is different, but not absent. Could feel texture, ruts, edges, surface changes, and slip. I'm thinking it might be a learning process vice just bad. I was very pleased by how agressively I could attack the curves by the end of the day.

Steering changes with the engine? Never would have guessed that! Well, restrict my comments to the 35i with the DHP!
