I broke it

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Ok so I've played a bit with BimmerCode and have BM3 (running stock x4mc map with no burbles). I don't have a BinmerCode backup (changed phones...grr no iCloud storage).

My Lane Keep Assist feature is no longer functional. I can do whatever to the settings in my iDrive but it just doesn't work (all on, etc)

No error messages.

Any ideas?

Have you tried messaging Stephen at Bimmercode?

There is a "Submit Support Request" option built into the app. Click on the settings icon in the top right corner after opening the app. He's pretty responsive & hopefully he can help you with the issue.

I got it « working » so it gives some steering vibration at least (I coded it out and back in) but its not jerking me back in the lane. Now I am starting to wonder if this vehicle had this feature or not.

I don't have the self-driving thing (button above RES CNCL on the steering wheel).

Check your VIN details in a VIN decoder. It should provide you with that info

I don't think any of those sites are working anymore. Or at least not in the US.

Weird. Just tried the mdecoder site and it worked as expected. Too bad it's not working for U.S. I wonder why?

Ok I answered my question.

I fixed it correctly. There should not be steering intervention without the Active Cruise Control on (the Eye in the bumper is needed).

Hope I can retrofit this!

Glad you got it sorted. Btw, I think the other option you mentioned might be the security system, but not 100% sure
