The M-HUD relies on having the actual M-KOMBI to feed it data AFAIK. You can't simply code the standard HUD to behave like the M5 version in the X4. Sorry

The OP wants his HUD in the X4 to behave like the car is a true M car - The true M's have a significantly different HUD display, including a live engine rev graph amongst other things.
This video shows the M-HUD in action on an E60 M5: This isn't a trivial coding change due to the fact that the M's have several different modules which are missing in the X4, but which the M-HUD relies on to relay the correct information. This includes a different KOMBI, gearbox, etc. Whilst coding HU_NBT > HUD_M > Aktiv is valid for an M car with an M-HUD, it won't magically make the M-HUD work in a non-M car for the reasons above. It is only one part of the configuration required and the proper solution needs some physical changes to the car components, which are not practical changes for an X4.

LOL, mmmkay.
You can code the startup video to be different (I changed mine from the BMW connected drive to the ///M logo), but I don't think you can upload arbitrary video into it. |
