Cargo area squeaking

I got a 2017 X4 M40i and I hear a lot of squeaking in the cargo area. Anyone else have this issue or have found a resolution to it?

You have to adjust the back tailgate.

Took it to the dealership and they took it apart and put felt in some areas. Less squeaking but its still there. So annoying.

Plastic contact with the body. I still hear some though. I plan on taking it to another dealership for the same issue to see if they can do a better job at it

Im having the same issue, it sounds to me like it is the Plastic trim framing around the rear window that is rattling. Im going to take it to the dealer and address it next week. It is pretty irritating. That (so far) is the only complaint I have on this vehicle.

well, i also have the exact problem. A bit of squeaking while riding on uneven roads / potholes. I will see if they can do a DIY! i am not sure if the vehicle is still covered under warranty to get these things fixed.

I agree. It is kind of annoying. I have my appointment for this Monday at another shop to see what they can do. It does sound like its the plastic in the rear window. Not sure why BMW always seem to use cheap plastics.

My issue is evidently different that what you guys have. My dealership actually adjusted the rear hatch a bit tighter, then my noise went away.

Took the car to another dealer and they made some more adjustments on the door bumpers and added more felt. Noise gone.
